Reaction: I would say the exact same words as Jess and I'd feel the same way too. I feel sorry for Jess because he just met a person who had something in common with himand they became really close. Now all of that is gone. Now he has Terabithia to himself.

kingdom. Page 39/40 Reaction: Thats a good idea for Leslie and Jess to have a secret, magical kingdom just to themselves. It would make a great place to relax and have fun, just the two of them. It would also be great for Jess because he always has to do chores, he would get annoyed by his sisters, and he wouldn't even have privacy in his room( obviously he wouldn't have privacy there because he shares a room with this sister ). Now he will only have privacy in his magical kingdom with his new best friend.

It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both. Page 184 Reaction: Its sad that Wilbur doesn't have Charlotte anymore because she died. She was his first friend ever since he moved to the Zuckerman's barn. Also, its a good thing that Wilbur NEVER forgot Charlotte, even though he loved her children and grandchildren, none of them would replace her in his heart. ♥

Reaction:
After she cut off her wings, she never really fit in with the other fairies. That's why she went somewhere else. Away from the other fairies. But it was also good that she was trying to help Mother Dove save her egg. But cutting off her wings made her feel different than everyone else. She didn't like to be different because of the way the other fairies would treat her. So then she ran away and tried to fit in with the mermaids since she is a water fairy and now that she can swim, she found the Mermaid Lagoon.

Reaction: Another one dead. All the puppies that are in the clinic are sick. The puppy, Dinky was the one who was sick the most. The reason why all of them are sick is because they all were bought from the farmers market. There is a guy who sells animals illegaly. Maggie and her friends are trying to find that man who was selling the puppies and try to take him to jail. He has to go to jail because it is against the law to abuse animals especially dogs. Its not right to treat animals badly when they need help the most.

Reaction: In this part of the story, I was getting so excited and wondering what part will come up next. Unforunately, the puppy died from a very strong infection. I was shocked. Well not really shocked, but there were 7 pups and all of them had infections and all of them were really sick. So I thought one of them would die. But it's still very sad. The way the author wrote it made me feel emotional.

Puppies this small get cold easily. Believe it or not, it can kill them , especially if they are already sick and malnourished. We need to keep him warm because he's probably using all his energy to fight off the infection."


Reaction:
When a puppy is malnourished, it means that the puppy wasn't nourished or fed properly. The puppy is verry sick and I feel sorry for it. Its trying so hard and using up all its energy to stay alive. But it might not have a chance to live after all the puppy has been through. The puppy was not vaccinaed and thats one of the reasons why it became sick.

Reaction:
Kit had to be raised by her grandfather and it is very sad that her parents drowned. But she did meet her aunt when she went to Wethersfield. Kit has never met her before. When she met her she treated Kit like the way her mother would treat her to make her feel more comfortable around her aunt.

Reaction:

Karana and Rontu-Aru( Karana's new dog ) are leaving Island of the Blue Dolphins for a better future. It must have been sad to leave a place that has been your home forever. When everyone's gone and you're alone with a wild dog on an island and you're so used to your surrounding, when you leave its so hard to let go of the place you grew up in. But when you leave you'll know inside your heart you'll never forget where you came from. Its very sad to leave a place that love.

Reaction:
Karana met a dog and she named it Rontu which means Fox Eyes. They became very close friends and now Rontu found his real owner. Karana never seen this girl and she tought she was the only person on The Island of the Blue Dolphins. She really loves Rontu. Now he has another owner. Karana got really angry and she is offically alone. I would feel very angry and sad because if I found a dog like Rontu smart, headstrong, and independent I wouldn't want it to leave me.

Reaction:
Karana's brother died before this part of the story. He was killed by wild dogs. Karana is the only one on the island and she has to make a shelter, find food and water, and she would have to make her own appliances in order to live. Its scary to live by yourself in an island because the only thing you will have there is yourself, your house, and wild animals. Another thing that is scary is that there'sno adults to supervise you when you're doing dangerous things like hunting for food. I feel sorry for Karana because her brother was her best friend and they would only play with each other. She's on her own :(

Reaction:
Now Karana and her brother Ramo are stranded on their island with no one, only themselves. They would have to hunt and catch without someone else to help them. Karana did the right thing to look for her brother, swim back to the island to get her brother, and now she is stranded with him. With only each other, they have to work with each other and they have to get along. I worry about that because there is no one else to help them with everthing they are not suppose to do alone. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

Reaction:
Paw-Paw is telling the story and I found out that the owl in the story is a thousand year old lady named Jasmine who stayed looking young so no one would think that she is really old. I thought the owl would be just an owl. It's amazing to here a story with someone that is a thousand years old and is in the form a of a young woman, but she's actually an owl. I feel so amazed by this story.

Reaction:
Its a very good thing that Casey is still learning about her Chinese heritage. Sometimes, she doesn't like to learn about her heritage or her culture because she thinks its too complicated. I would ALWAYS love to learn about my Filipino heritage. Everday I learn something ad so does Casey. I can really related to what she is feeling. Sometimes, I get frustrated if I'm doing something wrong and sometimes, I just give up.But what I feel about this quote is that I feel very connected to Casey and I know how she feels because I feel the same way.

Reaction:
I wonder what is wrong with Edward. Why is he looking at Bella in an unusual way? Was he trying to tell her something? Was he trying to tell her that she might be in danger? Is Bella in danger? Maybe Edward is just very aggressive.

Edward Cullen was standing four cars down from me, staring at me in horror... Just before I heard the shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed, something hit me, hard, but not from the direction I was expecting... Then his hands moved so fast they blurred... But more clearly than all the yelling, i could hear Edward Cullen's low, frantic voice in my ear. "Bella? Are you all right?"

Reaction:
How did Edward save her life when he was just four cars away? I think its a little unusual to be saving someone's life when you are far away from them. Also, how did his hands move to quickly to say her?

Reaction:
How did Edward find out that she fainted in Biology so quickly? It was a good thing that he found out so that he could comfort her. Edward has a good side after all.

His voice dropped a little lower. "The cold ones?" I asked, not faking my intrigue... I tried to keep my voice casual. "So how does that fit in with the Cullens? Are they like the cold ones your great-grandfather met?" "No." He paused dramatically. "They are all the same ones."... "And what are they?" I finally asked. "What are the cold ones?" he smiled darkly. "Blood drinkers," he replied in a chilling voice. "Your people call them vampires."

Reaction:
Could the Cullens be vampires? Is Edward a vampire? If he is, why didn't tell Bella when they became friends?

Reaction:
If Edward was a vampire, what would Bella do if it was true/ I hope she doesn't tell everyone. Well I think that he is a vampire and that he might do something to her if tells his secret, if he is a vampire. Wow! This story is intense!!!!! I love this story! So much detail and its so suspicious!
